[Neuro-IT] Workshop on "unified neural theory of language and motor control"

The CONTACT Project, supported by the EU within the NEST activities, is
organizing, in collaboration with CRIL, an international workshop on the
"development of unified representation of speech and motor control".

Is language production different from manipulative actions? Does motor
representation of speech play a role in speech acquisition and understanding? Is
it possible to formulate a unified neural theory of motor control?

The international workshop organized in Lecce at the end of June addresses some
of this questions with the aim of creating an opportunity for dialogue between
first class scientists from the disciplines of cognitive neuroscience, robotics
and linguistics.
